Mahoney's Oil Wax Finish 8oz

A blend of Beeswax, Carnauba wax, and Walnut oil. 

Rub on liberally with soft cloth into wood grain. Let sit for one hour. Buff off with soft cloth or buffing wheel.

This product is non-toxic, food safe product that provides a satin sheen for bowls, butcher blocks, wooden utensils, furniture, and bench tops. Completely safe for food contact after drying.

Food Safe Finishes

The secret to a satin food-safe finish is pure walnut oil from California that is very high in linoleic acid. The oil is heat treated to make it oxidize faster. This combined with the high linoleic acid makes this oil completely unique.  It penetrates deeply into the wood and then hardens, leaving an excellent utility finish that will not evaporate like mineral oil finishes. Mahoney's Oil Wax Finish is a unique blend of pure walnut oil, beeswax, and carnauba wax. Use this when you need a little luster on your work.
